Some Pieces just come to me from the song title it's self. I immediately knew I wanted to center the piece around Circus and what better representation of the "LimeLight" then the elephant on a ball. A most unnatural thing viewed in awe, how magnificent it is to see a 3 ton beast perched on a ball. The Elephant doesn't understand and only knows the ball to be a safeplace if it falls it fails. The audience's applauds are the only metric the elephant can use at it attempts to balance.
Start to understand how the first elephant ever knew too get on the ball.
Can't Stay by VLVT RED
Can't Stay by VLVT RED
A half human butterfly hybrid being called home via flower UFO as a crowd gathers to watch it take place.
Was the butterfly simply standing in the crowd when wings grew and they flew up towards their calling, or did they always have wings. Does it even matter. The people watching are doing all they know, give attention to what is out of the ordinary. Ordinary is a standard set by Walt Disney (not really but you get the point). So in the end those who watch stay voiceless, those who fly are admired, and once in flight terrified.
Lover's Quarrel by VLVT RED
Lover's Quarrel by VLVT RED
Classic Lover's fight. the bubbles around her are pseudo thought bubbles and filled with hearts distorted by heat. the women herself is conflicted the colors become colder as we approach her heart. Constant fighting and lack of attention has turned a big heart cold. Sometimes we attempt to think these feelings away or act rash to try to get compensation for the emotional strife we are put through. There is no correct response except for the one that is true to you. The paper and water texture were used to assign fragility and instability. Water held in a tank is rarely motionless, maybe it can't walk but each molecule is moving freely within. It is our responsibility to not allow things to swirl too long.
Cut a Loss by Ale from The Park

I love Ale this song was so smooth and soulful. I originally drew the hand to practice my shading, and decided with an infrared color swap the hand to give the feeling it is a hand transitioning from hot to cold as it attempts to grab the heart shaped balloon that is now clearly frozen. is the balloon cooling the hand not allowing him to firmly grasp or is the hot hand melting the balloon away. this is the first piece where i use the paper texture and it represents fragility of conviction.

guy falling for a girl as she walks away, aesthetically pleasing but thematically weak in comparison to the rest of the commissions. I guess its cool the guy is willing to dive off a cloud to attempt to reach the women not considering the lethal fall to follow.

My personal favorite to stare at, sometimes idek how i did something. this one in particular was fun. I love Eddie's music so I wanted to make something he enjoys. I was playing with skulls portraits but never in this lithography style. the color palette is that of coal. with a oil filter aplied later this piece is nearly perfect the only thing i would've done is have the color values change dependent on lighting.

Chase The Sun by River, Call Me Sy!, and Mo.
this one is interesting because the draft before was hand drawn and this is a completely vectorized drawing. I had Ayoub take the elements of the draft and make something that filled the demands of the artist. The Sun in this piece has grooves similar to a vinyl disc and the 3 blue men are the artist treading towards the center.
Unfair by Mo.

This piece looks simple but the meaning for me is undeniable. The flower in the center is a dried dandelion that Mo had picked during us shooting the Follow Me video. 6 months later and that same flower was sitting at my desk I phtographed it since it seemed froxen in motion, the petals shriveled and honestly reminded me of shaking dreads. So after some digital trickery and a background the design was finalized.

OuroBoros the cyclical return of nature. This was a fun one and was essentially the highest execution of my chalk line art style. This was Akh's first song after a hiatus and thought the Self consuming snake represented his re-entry into the music scene.

Cheshire Cat emerging from his portal to sell you on whatever he's got. The white background has chain texture that I like to reuse in my pieces. It's essentially a textile and represents lack of freedom. The portal and the cat have broken through, I wonder how.

This was a heavy one. Lots of symbols we'll start from the back. the Green lines are the hatta pattern zoomed in. the Eye is us corrupted through digital media, the distortion of the truth, but in the center of it all in the pupil is the people of Palestine. Even with all the distraction we can't look away.
The man is holding a baby who passed and from his head sprouts an olive tree. the olives that fall morph int bombs. The baby is dressed as super man a western superhero. because the baby likes superman, because he saves people and is strong. but to us it symbolizes how we aren't so different, we all love Superman we want to be like him. But also that baby is strong although gone he has become a symbol that should not be forgotten. How many Supermans have we lost to senseless genocide. May Allah swt forgive us for ever complaining about the Mundane.
Wolves Eat Goats by ICEFACE
Wolves Eat Goats by ICEFACE
My Boy ICE I had to do him right. This similar to others purely came from the title. Wolves eat GOATs, get it? Greatest Of All Time makes you a goat but what about the wolf how do you become one. Is it merely determined by hunger. Behind the wolf are bills falling from the sky each having something written on them.
